Chili Garlic Oil

A flavorful blend of chili and garlic infused in oil, adding a spicy, savory kick to any dish.

Ingredients:

  • Chili flakes or dried chili peppers
  • Fresh garlic (minced)
  • Cooking oil (vegetable or canola oil)
  • Salt
  • Optional: sugar, soy sauce, sesame seeds

Procedure:

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook until lightly golden and fragrant.
  3. Lower the heat, then add the chili flakes or chopped dried chili peppers.
  4. Stir gently to infuse the flavors, being careful not to burn the garlic or chili.
  5. Add salt and optional ingredients like sugar or soy sauce to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
  7. Transfer to a clean, airtight jar for storage.
